What is zora folley?

Zora Folley was a professional boxer who was born on May 27, 1931 in Dallas, Texas. He began boxing in the amateur ranks before turning professional in 1953. Folley was known for his strong punching power and solid boxing skills.

Throughout his professional career, Folley competed in the heavyweight division against some of the top fighters of his era, including Muhammad Ali, Sonny Liston, and Joe Frazier. He held the NABF heavyweight title in 1966.

Folley's most notable fight was against Muhammad Ali in 1967 for the WBA World Heavyweight title. Despite putting up a good fight, Folley was ultimately knocked out by Ali in the seventh round.

Folley retired from boxing in 1970 with a professional record of 79 wins (48 by knockout), 11 losses, and 4 draws. He tragically died in a car accident in 1972 at the age of 41. Zora Folley was inducted into the World Boxing Hall of Fame in 2004.
